INTERIORS

To meet the expectations of modern, luxury and hassle free living, Circa 2020 provides you with the option of two Interior Designs to choose from.

Modern Urban features wooden and earth-friendly elements. In order to maintain a streamlined look and feel and to keep the space from feeling clinical, we have used a substantial mix of natural materials. These include stone, wood, concrete and other industrial-inspired elements.

Hotel Lux interior design style embraces a similar concept of using natural materials, but paired with warm, softer tones.

Now all you need to do is select your interior design and landscaping and we are ready to create the home you’ll love a little more each and everyday.

Hotel Lux

Hotel Luxe will appeal to those wanting a refined, luxurious space. Referencing cues from leading hotels overseas, it creates a design that makes luxury achievable in your home. Why should luxury only be part of your holidays when it can be every day at home with your Circa 2020 Residence. Luxe finishes such as marble-like floors, a soft metallic kitchen splashback, speckled overhead kitchen cabinets and brushed, gold coloured tapware, have been added to this beautiful collection, to create warm, chic spaces that will appeal to people who desire a sophisticated style.

Modern Urban

Industrial is a trend people love but not everyone lives in a warehouse or gritty environment. This style is about embracing the beauty of remade working spaces like factories and bakeries that were renovated into lofts. The look is minimalistic, clutter free and open plan. Modern Urban features a white, grey and black colour palette featuring white walls, cement-look floor tiles and benchtops with black tapware. This home design lets you be as bold as you like.

CREATE YOUR PERFECT INTERIORS

“Trends come and go but if it works for you, that’s what matters,” says interior expert Darren Palmer from Channel Nine’s The Block.

According to Palmer, the number one thing every home needs is ‘soul and life’. A beautiful art gallery space is one thing, but a beautiful, soul-filled homey space is what really makes you happy to live in it.”

No matter how much money we spend on quality furniture, without the right placement rooms will seem to be lacking something and look nothing like the perfect spaces we see in magazines. Below we have outlined some tips to guide you through creating more space inside and outside your home.

1. Harmony
Be subtle with your pattern choices if you want to achieve balance. You don’t need a hero, just a collection of side kicks.

2. Off The Wall
Be careful not to place furniture hard up against the walls. Either add a few centimetres between the wall and your furniture or create cozy stories to create the illusion of space.

3. Onwards And Upwards
Our designs feature a vertical garden, a modern way to have an established garden without taking up too much space. This is all organised for you to create a beautiful atmosphere all year round.

4. Snug As A Bug
Choosing a striped rug, with the stripes running parallel to the longest side of the room, will create length. Thick stripes running vertically up a feature wall or piece of artwork can also create the same effect.

5. Illusionists
Styling your room with see through or reflective items will limit clutter and make spaces seem larger. A large mirror on a wall facing  a window will bounce light around a room and create an illusion of a second window on the opposite wall. Glass shelving or transparent chairs also create the illusion of extra space.

6. Display In Threes
The rule of three is vastly used in decorating and styling. Displaying a trio seems to be more appealing visually and more balanced, especially when size, height and materials add some variety. Apply this concept to different areas throughout the house. Just make sure you’re not overdoing it, otherwise the effect won’t be read right.

7. Layer, Layer And Layer Some More
If you like the magazine styled home, layering is the answer. Start small and add more layers as you get comfortable with your home’s dynamics. A good place to start is a sofa or coffee table. Experiment with the rule of three with different materials, textures and colours until it feels right.

8. Let Your Home Reflect Who You Are
The most stylish homes are either styled for a photo shoot; or are real life houses of interesting people, that look somewhat “different” to what we are used to see, but hold a lot of character and style. To make your home more stylish is to add more of who you are and what you like. Make it a beautiful place you are eager to spend time in and love it as much as you can. When you love and “support” your home’s quirks, it’s easy to impress everyone else.
